《诗经》，是我国最早的一部诗歌总集，收录了从西周初年到春秋中期（公元前1100-600年左右）的诗歌305首，其中6首有目无辞，即为笙诗，故又称“诗三百”。
先秦时称其为《诗》，或取其整数称《诗三百》。
西汉时被尊为儒家经典，始称《诗经》，并沿用至今。
